This was my first time here a Hibiki BBQ, and it was due to random post I saw on social media. I love the Japanese train station decor. It brings be back to Japan. The meat was good, we got the premium package and it didn't disappoint. The best cut we ordered was the Waygu Top Plate, melt in you mouth tender. The brisket is delicious also. Surprisingly their fried rice was tasty and worth a try. Overall we had a great lunch here. It's a must try!

⭐ A Fairly New Japanese BBQ Spot in San Gabriel! ⭐ Located on Valley Blvd inside “Sunny Plaza”, right next to LuDingJi Noodle House and across the street from San Gabriel Superstore. The plaza has about 10–15 spots up front, more in the back, and even an underground parking structure — plenty of spaces overall I actually found this place through social media — the videos made the décor and meat quality look so I decided to come check it out myself. When I walked in, the restaurant wasn’t as big as it looked in the promo clips, but it was still clean, cozy, and comfy inside. Service was awesome — my server was super friendly and helpful. It wasn’t too busy on a Wednesday night, so no wait time at all. They offer 2 AYCE options: Premium and Supreme — we went with Premium since it already had plenty of meat choices. The quality was solid, and their wasabi squid and steamed egg were surprisingly good! Definitely worth trying as appetizers. Costs tend to be in the upper range but I feel like it should be more in the $30 range for Premium and 40 range for Supreme. Overall, I’d give this place a solid 4.2⭐ — clean spot, good quality meats, friendly service, and chill vibes. If you’re in the area and craving Japanese BBQ, this place is worth a visit!

Hibiki BBQ – Authentic Japanese BBQ Experience! ???????? Hibiki BBQ in San Gabriel instantly transported me to Japan with its live, fun atmosphere and top-tier meat quality. The wagyu tongue was especially amazing, super tender and full of flavor. The restaurant is very clean, and I loved the wide variety of dipping sauces available to customize each bite. Their Moshi drinks were a refreshing bonus and paired perfectly with the grilled meats. The service was great, and there’s plenty of free parking in the plaza, which made everything super convenient. If you're craving a real Japanese yakiniku-style BBQ experience, Hibiki is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back!

Place is great and awesome experience! I loved it. Came with a group of 4 ppl. Love the atmosphere and music. Staff were very nice. You will be mostly using the iPad to order your food. There were two prices for the menu $49 and $79(?) we pick the lowest tier and it was still a lot of options. Recommendation order 4 types of meat and order 2x of the same meat. If you order all of it gets confusing. Go in order 4 meats at a time and try everything. Highly recommend will be coming back. Thank you.

Around 4.2-4.4 ⭐. I like the interior decoration because it feels in Japan. Service is good but a little bit slow at the beginning (Maybe peak time). Prices are okay but wagyu steak is not included. Noted that wagyu steak from another table is very good quality. The food overall is good, I especially like beef tongue and deep fried squid. I recommend people to try at least once here to see the decorations and the wagyu beef.

We knew of this place from various social media sites and wanted to try it. When we arrived, there were not many people so we were seated right away. The service started off slow, but improved as we began ordering and eating. The food was good, but we had to remind ourselves this was JBBQ, not KBBQ as there are some slight differences. It is a little pricey, but that seems to be the trend with BBQ restaurants now-a-days.
